Based in Ballarat with office, briefing rooms, reception, viewing area and hangarage, we invite you to enjoy the beauty of our rural setting with no controlled airspace considerations. Self contained budget style accomodation is available to all as required in bunk style rooms or we can assist you in arranging motel accomodation. The coffee pot is always on and a snack vending machine is on site for your convenience.

We are permanently located at Ballarat Airport which is around an hours drive west of Melbourne CBD. The airport is located on the North West side of Ballarat with immediate access to the Main Highway between Melbourne and Adelaide. When coming from Melbourne the most direct route to the airport is to stay on the freeway for some 10km's or so after the first Ballarat turnoff. This exit goes directly to the erodromet. The PDF document has photos and shows this very clearly.

Don't Drive ? 

No drama - if you jump on a V / Line train to Ballarat we will pick you up from the station and drop you back after the flight. Just let us know that is what you are doing prior to the flight.
